LMS WITH KNOWLEDGE REPOSITORY FEATURE
Abara LMS has a feature called Knowledge Repository which is similar to a mini document management or performance support feature.
Knowledge repositories allow administrators to add and store reference materials in a central location, making it easily accessible for learners.
LMS WITH CONTENT MANGEMENT CAPABILITIES
Abara LMS is one of the only LMSes with a central knowledge repository feature which acts like a mini-library consisting of reference materials made available by the LMS administrator.
Learners can quickly access important course material that is not necessarily formal learning but important nevertheless via the web or the mobile app. This could include:
Quick reference guides
Checklists
Document templates
Forms
How-to guides
Procedures documents
Standard Operating Process (SOPs)
DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT CAPABILITES
Master Administrators can organize content into folders for easy bundling of reference content as per subject or category so that it is easily organized for efficient searches. These documents can be used as sources of truth or as a document repository.
Once added, Abara LMS lets administrators choose if a learning object should be added and made available in the knowledge repository for a specific period or permanently.
LEARNER-SIDE VIEW OF KNOWLEDGE REPOSITORY
As learners access the repository, the LMS records and saves their interactions and displays it under the learning object with a checkmark. This lets the learner know that this piece of content has already been accessed
SIMPLIFYING ACCESS AND SEARCH AND RETRIVAL OF DOCUMENTS
Abara LMS provides users with Search and Filter options for ease in retrieving content. Learners can search for learning objects using keywords, the name of the folder, or the name of the learning object, and also sort through the results.
KNOWLEDGE REPOSITORY VIEWS REPORT
Administrators can track the views that each object receives in the knowledge repository.
Using built-in features, administrators can check if learners have access to specific content during a specified period. This feature helps administrators understand if the uploaded content is popular with learners or requires re-positioning.
